Genius Merchant Sync Installation and Connection Guide

Genius Merchant Sync Installation and Connection Guide

This guide applies only to Genius Merchant Sync. Before starting, verify that your nopCommerce version is supported, keep a backup and previous plugin ZIP, and use a public HTTPS Store.Url.

1. Install the customer ZIP

  1. Sign in to the customer account that purchased the plugin and open My Licenses.
  2. Download the Merchant Sync release ZIP and retain it unchanged.
  3. In nopCommerce, open Admin → Configuration → Local plugins, upload the ZIP, restart when prompted, then install Misc.GeniusMerchantSync.

2. Activate the domain-bound license

Open Configure and activate the license for the exact public Store.Url. One license is bound to one canonical production hostname; a different subdomain needs a separate license. Google connection and synchronization stay blocked until a locally verified license is active.

3. Configure and connect Google

Enter the selected Merchant account and data-source identifiers, language, currency and target country. Keep the first configuration in Dry run. Then connect Google using the Genius-managed OAuth route, where available, or a customer-owned OAuth client with the exact callback URI displayed by the plugin.

4. Validate before synchronization

Validate the Merchant account and data source. Review diagnostics and issues, then run a bounded manual sync before enabling scheduled or incremental synchronization. Do not paste a license key, OAuth token, client secret or password into support email.

Read the Merchant Sync privacy policy and Google API data-use notice before connecting Google Merchant services.
